First, you should get to know the difference between Lumen and Lux. Lumens is the total amount of light output from a light emitter. Lux is the amount of light cast on a given area. lux = lumens/m2

With Fan or No Fan?
There is some of the fanless headlight perform better than with fans, but not that much. All the other high power headlight LEDs have fans in the heat sinks. this is a terrible idea… a horrible idea. Why? It’s a moving part. A tiny, motor turning a little plastic cooling fan, under the hood of a car, exposed to all the dirt, vibrations, dust and grime. How long until that cooling fan fails? And when that happens how long will your LED survive?
Well, the life span of NO FAN lamps will be much greater than the lights with fan, just on this feature alone. Depending on an exposed fan for a headlight in a dirty environment is a huge design flaw, and these avoid that problem.
